The REAL Father Christmas is moving his grotto
to The Ocean Club, Seahouses, this winter
A new home on the Northumberland coast, but the same office, the same magic, and the same gift with every visit.
Seahouses Christmas has announced that Father Christmas, the real one, will be receiving visitors from a new grotto at The Ocean Club, Seahouses, this December. The move follows years of festive visits from families across the North East, and organisers say the new venue will let more children meet Santa in his own office, without the queues of shopping centre grottos.
“He’s not hard to find if you know where to look,” said Carolyn Britton. “This year, that’s The Ocean Club. Same chair, same fire, same red book with everybody’s name in it, just a new door.”
Every visit remains a proper, unhurried sit-down with Father Christmas, ending with a gift chosen for each child. Three sets of dates are available this year, with the earliest already selling quickly.
Every ticket includes a visit to Father Christmas and a gift. Organisers note that Saver dates, historically the first to sell out, are already going quickly this year.
The Ocean Club joins a growing list of Northumberland coast venues building out family experiences for the festive season, and Seahouses Christmas says the new venue will remain the grotto’s home for years to come.
